API Keys

Create a key from your profile and limit what it can call.

Create a key

Open your profile and choose API Keys, then Create API key.

Give the key a name if you want one in the list. Permissions default to every permission on your account. Narrow that set when the key should do less than you can. A key cannot receive a permission your account does not have.

Copy the key when it appears. The list keeps the name and the key id. It does not show the secret again.

An API key cannot create, list, or revoke keys. Do that from API Keys.

Use the key

Send it on later requests in the Authorization header. A Bearer prefix is optional. GET /limits/jwt returns the limits that apply to the key you sent. See Limits and Usage.
